Welcome to Sleekit Beasties, the home of contemporary animal jewellery.

I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, with a BDes Honours in Illustration and Printmaking.

However it was not until after taking night classes in silver jewellery making that I discovered my true passion in life.

My pieces are all inspired by my love of animals and nature. I am greatly influenced by pattern and texture and revel in being able to take a flat sheet of Sterling Silver and turn it into something more organic and full of life.

I have drawn upon my background in Printmaking; the techniques used there, and adapted them to the medium of silver to create realistic and unusual pieces.

Each piece is entirely handcrafted and taken from the initial drawing stage to the finished article with careful consideration to detail and design, resulting in sleek, contemporary, unique pieces.
